Dr. Kate Joos, DVM

Dr. Kate Joos, DVM, is an equine veterinarian based in Gainesville, Texas. She operates North Texas Equine Veterinary Services, specializing in horse breeding services, including artificial insemination (AI), embryo transfer, stallion collection, semen evaluation, mare fertility management, and foaling assistance.

In addition to her veterinary practice, Dr. Joos is actively involved in promoting color horse breeds. She collaborates with Michelle Johnston in the CA$H FOR COLOR program, which aims to provide a platform to promote color breeds and incentivize breeding to enrolled stallions. The program’s mission is to showcase breeders and enthusiasts, offering participants opportunities to earn cash and prizes while encouraging and strengthening the future of color breeds and the horse industry as a whole.

Dr. Joos worked with Carol Rose Quarter Horses, contributing to the renowned breeding and training programs at the Rose Ranch.

Her dedication to equine health and the promotion of color horse breeds highlights her significant contributions to the equestrian community.

He attended college on a rodeo scholarship and has since claimed numerous world titles in roping events. Among his many accomplishments, he secured victory at the prestigious George Strait Team Roping Classic. With a deep-rooted passion for roping and years of competitive success, Tyler remains a respected trainer in the rodeo world.
